Rojo Rocket officially opened 31st October 2009 bringing authentic Mexican ambience and cuisine to Australia. Identifying a need for a traditional Mexican restaurant, Rojo Rocket was founded on the dream to bring a slice of the real Mexico to Australia.
Born and raised in Mexico, part owner Nigdali Lupercio and her Australian born husband Adrian Reed had a vision to bring the true Mexican way of life to Australia. Upon teaming up with Ken West, owner of Big Day Out, and his partner Cathy Rechichi, the partnership fused an expert knowledge of Mexican cuisine with an unrivalled knowledge of the Australian entertainment landscape. The perfect makings of a spectacular Restaurant and Bar.
Authentic in every facet, from the truly amazing décor to the chef from Playa del Carmen Mexico, Rojo Rocket is the ultimate cultural experience.
The beachside suburb of Avoca is situated on the East Coast of NSW just an hours drive from Sydney. The region is most popular for its stunning patrolled beach and spectacular natural surrounds.
Rojo Rocket is one of its kind in this region. Set on a 3 acre parcel of lush landscaped grounds, located just five minutes from Avoca Beach.

Walk in patrons without bookings will be seated according to availability however there is our Cantina bar and lounge area should you encounter a waiting period for your table - at night we will serve a tapas menu in these areas.
group bookings For 10 or more people we offer a $45 set menu.
Capacity — Rojo Rocket caters for up to 80 people for sit down dining and up to 200 people for a cocktail style event.
